Great value for money

I packed Benatia as an untradeable during the 81+ pack frenzy last week, and didn't even think of playing him, but after getting rid of Prime Ferdinand to get R9 I had a gaping hole in my defense that needed to be filled.

He's actually a lot better than Prime Rio in everything. People like to say that Icons have a "hidden trait" and they're always better that other players... I've never felt that with Rio. On the other hand, Benatia is just amazing at defending, his blocks have saved me from at least 3 certain goals this WL, and that's something neither Rio or Maldini ever did for me.

If you have a Serie A team you need him in your squad ASAP, because he's too good. It's hard to fit him in a hybrid, but if you have EOAE Buffon and an icon/Serie A fullback/CM/CB, it's feasible and very worth it to do so.

His price hovers around 100K now, and even if it's gone up a lot since FUTTIES ended, it's still worth it for such a great player.

Defending: he's amazing at it. With a shadow he gets perfect stats, and that shows in-game. That coupled with his 99 strength make him an end-game CB.

Passing: it's great. His passing is really good for a CB, both long and short, and even in tough situations when I was getting pressed he managed to play the ball to one of my midfielders with no problem.

Shooting: his heading is amazing, his shooting is not good, that being said he scored this (https://www.futbin.com/18/squad/5829677). In 7 WL games he's gotten 2 goals, which for a CB is good return IMO.

The biggest con I can find for him is his links, and even that isn't that bad as he's in Juventus, so you can link him to Alex Sandro, Marchisio, Pjanic, Buffon, Chiellini...

His stamina is also quite bad compared to other CBs, but I don't think it really matters for his position.

best defender in the game

Benatia TOTS is a monster !! by far the best defender i tried ( i did had Leblanc prime, ferdinand prime, ramos toty, desailly prime ). it's just insane how is always good placed on the floor and he had such a speed he can catch anyone and he can easily get the ball from them, he is also the king of the air ! he scored so many goals in the corners... the only cons is the staminna at 76 but for a defender it's okay !

Brilliant

I have to sell my benatia tots bcz i wanted to buy mbappe tots. so to replace him, i bought benatia motm. What a purchase that is. Trust me, benatia tots and motm feels like almost same except for stamina. tackling , interception is great, scores monster headers. I was amazed when he shrugged off tots lukaku like he was nobody. I pair him with koulibaly tots. and these two are my final cbs for the rest of fut 18.

What is there to say. I used his regular card in the team shown (which is shown how it looks in game, obviously everyone gets 10 chem) and he was good. Not as good as the baby Ferdinand, or Boateng, or Bailly even. He was a CB I felt I used out of necessity due to my love of Alex Sandro, who I consider to be the best LB in the game bar none (including Alaba, and the 2nd version of Roberto Carlos, both of whom I have used). ...
