The UEFA Champions League Challenge is Live

PlayStation Tournaments has kicked off the UEFA Champions League Challenge, an exclusive EA SPORTS FC 26 tournament on PlayStation 5 where Ultimate Team players from around the world can compete for UEFA Champions League Final tickets, cash, FC points, and serious bragging rights. 

Head to the PlayStation Tournaments menu on the EA SPORTS FC 26 main screen on your PS5, pick a start time, and register. Your next run could be the one that books your place in Budapest.

What is the UEFA Champions League Challenge?

The UEFA Champions League Challenge is a special PlayStation Tournament played in EA SPORTS FC 26 Ultimate Team on PS5.

Running from 24th to 30th November and again from 8th to 14th December, you can jump into open qualifiers directly from your PS5, and try to qualify for Closed Finals, where the biggest prizes are on the line, including tickets to the UEFA Champions League Final in Budapest with travel and accommodation included. 

It’s free to enter and designed for all players. Tournaments start multiple times throughout the day, so you can simply pick the time slot that fits your schedule.

After each league phase, the top players earn a spot in the Closed Finals.

From there, finalists from each phase (League Phases, KO Playoffs, Round of 16, Quarter Finals) will face off in a closed semifinal.

The best of the best will then qualify to play in an on-site final at the eChampions League stage.

• Open to everyone 18+. All skill levels welcome; you don’t need to be a pro.

Prizes

The UEFA Champions League Challenge on PlayStation Tournaments offers an exciting opportunity for the winner of each stage (League Phase – Round of 16) to claim a ticket and travel package to the UEFA Champions League Final in Budapest. 

Each first-place winner of the Closed Playoffs will receive a Travel Package to the UEFA Champions League Final.

Closed Playoffs Prizing

1st Place: UEFA Champions League Final Ticket + Travel Package*

2nd Place: 100 Euros

3rd-4th Place: 50 Euros

5th-8th Place: 30 Euros

As well as being at the UEFA Champions League Final, winners will also take part in an online Winners Bracket with the Top 2 able to take part in a showdown on the eChampions League Stage hosted by EA in Budapest.

How to Sign Up 

Joining is designed to be as simple as possible – everything is handled directly on your PS5 in EA SPORTS FC 26.

• Turn on your PS5 and launch EA SPORTS FC 26.
• On the FC 26 main menu, look for the PlayStation Tournaments button.
• Open the UEFA Champions League Challenge programme.
• Browse the list of tournament times and pick the start time that suits you.
• Hit Register. 

Shortly before your tournament starts, you’ll receive an automatic notification so you can jump straight into your matches.
