The first Fantasy FC Upgrades are already here less than a week into the new promo! Plenty of teams locked in their first win of two but we do already have some PlayStyle and PlayStyle Upgrades!
We’re still in the International Break on the female side of the game so won’t be seeing their cards in action until this upcoming weekend!
Heung Min Son - Chip Shot and Pinged Pass
Sonny was the first player to get their upgrade locked in with an 18th minute assist against Ipswich this weekend. Chip Shot is a fairly useless PlayStyle, but Pinged Pass is a nice addition.
Khvicha Kvaratskhelia - Power Shot and Rapid
Kvara is loving life in Paris, he’s already recorded 5 goal contributions with his assist against Lyon this weekend being the important one for us. Unlike Son, this Kvara card has been given 2 really nice PlayStyles with Power Shot and Rapid being added to his card!
Aurelien Tchouameni - Incisive Pass and Slide Tackle
Defenders and Goalkeepers need a Clean Sheet for their PlayStyle Upgrade, and with Tchouameni filling in at CB for Madrid this season that’s exactly where the Fantasy Card is positioned. Incisive Pass and Slide Tackle added to an already broken card…
Oihan Sancet - Incisive Pass+ and Pinged Pass
Our first PS+ Upgrade this week is for Bilbao midfielder Oihan Sancet. He scored one of the goals in a 7-1 win which also means he’s only 3 club goals away from a 99 Face Stat. The additional PlayStyles are incredible, Incisive being upgraded to + and Pinged Pass are crazy!
Djordje Petrovic - Far Reach+ and Footwork
If only Chelsea had a competent goalkeeper who was regularly keeping clean sheets in Europe… A third consecutive clean sheet for Petrovic means he locks in the PlayStyle Upgrade at the first attempt. Far Reach+ and Footwork added to the Serb.
Yellow and Red Cards
If players can avoid a booking in the next 4 matches they’ll be rewarded with a +1 OVR and either a 5* Weak Foot or Skill Moves, seem easy enough? Not for some, despite only being a week in, some players just couldn’t help themselves.
Moises Caicedo - Yellow Card in the 89th Minute vs Aston Villa (2-1 Loss)
Alexsandro Ribeiro - Yellow Card in the 92nd Minute vs Monaco (2-1 Win)
Let’s just hope this week the players can hold on even just an extra 5 minutes…
