Franz Beckenbauer is Back! - Huge Title Update

Another HUGE update is now live in FC 25 with so much being added! New players, new PlayStyles, new game modes and more!

Legend Returns

Franz Beckenbauer is back. The German legend is making his return to Ultimate Team after last being seen as a Legend in FIFA 17. We can assume his base stats as they were shown in Icon Career, if they’re not the same they’ll be extremely similar and we’ll be looking at one of the best defenders in the game. Alternate positions of CDM and CM look really nice too!

The Holy Trinity…

The boys are back. This was teased and confirmed last week and we’ve finally been given more information about the Roma trio returning. Ibarbo, Doumbia and Gervinho will be returning this Friday, in packs as FUT Birthday Heroes but won’t be available in packs after that. They’ll be exclusively available through Objectives and Evolutions as ‘Streets Won’t Forget’ Heroes. 

Low Driven Shot PlayStyle

After seeing new Roles added earlier in the year, we’re now seeing a new PlayStyle being added to FC 25. The Low Driven Shot is now live, it can’t be tested out yet as there’s no players with the PlayStyle, but expect to see it on some players in FUT Birthday Team 2!

A new Friendly mode called ‘Targets’ will be coming alongside the PlayStyle, hitting targets in the corner of the goal will reward you with an extra goal. 

Super Sub Player Items

Super Sub items will be coming to Ultimate Team soon, you’ll be able to sub on players and instead of playing with their base stats, they’ll receive the same boost as they would on full Chemistry.
