FUT Birthday News, Release Date, Gervinho, Doumbia and Ibarbo...

FUT Birthday is almost here and we’re ready to say this might be the best FUT Birthday EVER. We’ve already got a really nice Mbeumo card in game, attainable after 4 days of logging in and there’s so much more to come. 

What is FUT Birthday?

It’s as simple as it sounds, an annual celebration of the release of Ultimate Team as a game mode. This will be our 10th year of a FUT Birthday promo so we’re hoping EA goes all out for this one. Expect plenty of fun cards, but most importantly the cards are all 5*5*!

Release Date

FUT Birthday starts this Friday (7th of March) and it’ll be a two week promo that will run until the 21st of March. 

FUT Birthday Icons

We haven’t seen it confirmed but we would presume that Birthday Icons keep their place in the promo. They will be joined for the first time by FUT Birthday Heroes, including a very special trio that we’ve been hoping will return. 

Card Design

Honestly the FC 24 Birthday design was a bit of a let down but last year aside they’ve always delivered with FUT Birthday card designs. We’re sticking with the pink theme for FC 25, but it sounds like there could be more coming…

FUT Birthday Evolutions

Speaking of more card designs, you’ll now be able to bring the nostalgia of FIFA 18, 19 and 20 into FC 25 with cosmetic Evolutions available for each of these card designs. 

These aren’t the only Evolutions we’ll be getting. We have been promised Daily Evolutions, these may include cosmetics and Training Camp Evolutions too so don’t be too shocked if there isn’t one to play for every day. 

Gervinho, Doumbia and Ibarbo.

Yep, the boys are back. We’re running it back to FIFA 15 with the iconic Roma trio making their return 10 years later. Available from Friday 14th March, the Roma Trio will feature through Objectives and Evolutions, with FUT Birthday Hero versions also being available in the Ultimate Team pool of players for packs. 

We’ve put together a concept objective for these cards, but please note this is not confirmed.
